The next part of the kirin costume that I am making.
The tail holds its shape due to how the fur was cut and sewn. It's stuffed firmly with polyfill and it quite heavy. It's held on with two belts.
The scales are quilted and painted. There is a wire in the tip of the tail to keep its shape.
